BENEFITS
|
- AGM
Technology immobilises the acid in the battery.
- High starting currents.
- Vibration resistant.
- Deep cycle applications.
- Stop/start capabilities.
- Recyclable - long life.
- Nationwide guarantee.
- Three battery capacities - 70, 80 and
92 Ah.
|
- Spillproof
- Very suitable for use in diesel vehicles.
- Potholes and rough terrain are less
likely to systematically damage the plates of this battery and shorten
the life.
- Withstand ongoing discharging and recharging
and offers up to 3 times the deep cycle life of a convential (flooded)
technology battery.
- Optimised for stop/start and regenerative
braking used in mild hybrid vehicles.
- Greener
environment.
- Peace of
mind motoring.
- Meets virtually
all the local market requirements.

HOW TO CHARGE A VRLA/AGM BATTERY
|
Charge
at a current at 10% of the C20 capacity with a voltage limit of 14.40V
for 24 hours.
That is for a 70Ah battery
(652AGM) – 7A
for 24 hours with a voltage limit of 14.40V at 25°C.
The voltage
limit should be adjusted for temperature as per the attached graph.
To
be practical
keep the voltage constant between 20°C and 30°C.
A fully charged battery should have an open
circuit voltage
(measured after 8 hours of no
charge or discharge) of
12.9 0V.
